More more more! Morsels is among the best coffee shops this side of the Mississippi. I live in Nashville and have the privilege of traveling across the states so I've tried a lot of coffee. First off, Morsels in nestled on the river with beautiful views of the bay. They have outdoor seating but you can still get these lovely views inside thanks to their large windows. Morsels has incredible food. Everything is fresh. Everything is carefully crafted an attention to detail is paid. Their breakfast biscuit sandwich with tomato jam is my favorite. And you can't go wrong with their little morsels of sweets! They're not snobby. They're so kind to tourists and visitors a like. They will do their best to remember your name even if you're just there for the weekend. They'll happily explain flavors and make suggestions. The coffee. They serve and brew Intelligentisa. They make their own syrups. I've never had a bad latte there. Morsels is an over all great experience. I'd love to spend my whole day there.

I'm not sure what all the hype is all about, but I was not impressed. My coffee was sour and I had to I throw it out... Even after a pinch of sugar and cream!! So much for depending on it to keep me awake to my drive back to southeast Michigan. I had high hopes for my good cup of joe! I'm a coffee lover and this place made me sad. The morsels were refrigerated and too sweet. I was not a fan. If you're into butter creams, this place is for you. I give this place a two star because it does have good service and a very cute location, but for the actual coffee? I'll pass.

Hipsters make the best coffee. Americano was great. The cold brew coffee was great. The mango smoothie was great. I will go here every time I am in TC.

This was a nice little cafe and the service inside was really good. We really just came in to try the morsels and it was pretty good. We had 4 for $4.

We were excited about this little coffee/breakfast spot since it's so close to our hotel here in Traverse City. It was good. The view of the river/bay was amazing. The coffee was good (but the espresso drinks needed a little 'umph' - perhaps we should've gone with a double shot?). The food was tasty. My wife and I ordered the eggs Hemingway. The flavor was spot on, the yogurt hollandaise was tasty. The only knock on the dish was that the poached eggs were hard poached and it would've been a perfect dish with a little yolk-ooze. I was tempted to offer to jump into their kitchen to show their cook how to poach an egg properly. Our daughter with with her usual (a toasted bagel w/cream cheese). She didn't leave a crumb, which is a sign that it was a proper bagel.

this coffee is the best I have ever had. I had to go back three times during cherry Festival.

We have come here several times while visiting town from out of state. Love the blended coffee and breakfast tacos. However, they have a sign that says "if you don't see something on the menu just ask because we can make about anything", yet when asked to leave out two ingredients in a blended coffee the man working said I couldn't do that. ???what the heck. Wait times are LONG, esp. for food so don't go if you are in a hurry.

A little treasure in Traverse City! I work at Interlochen Arts Camp, so when I get a chance to go into downtown, I make a point to stop by morsels! They always have at least two gluten free morsels, which is great because it's sometimes hard to find GF desserts. Everything I've had has been great (tacos, huevos rancheros, iced tea, hot tea, coconut macaroon morsel and two types of GF chocolate morsels). It has free wifi and plenty of outlets! What more can you ask from from a cafe/coffee shop??

Great little treat shop. The teas are the star of this place in my opinion. They have loose leaf tea that is steeped to perfection. The tea is full flavor and they have many options. The only reason for the loss of the star is that the little cake bites were good however some were dry. I got a box of 10 to share and about 7 were good the other 3 were dry and not yummy at all. Would go back to get tea and possibly try a new cake bite maybe they are more fresh earlier in the day?

Adorable little place! Industrial accents with cozy seating and a fireplace! They have a menu and a coffee bar to sit at and their presentation here is stellar.

Best coffee in town and I say that as a coffee snob. If I happen to forget my espresso pot it's almost impossible to get good (drip) coffee in this town. I'll pass on the warm, brown, water. Morsels has great iced, regular and espresso drinks. It's in a perfect location right on Front across from the parking structure. Oh and don't forget to pick up a few of their tasty namesake morsels. They're more like one bite cupcakes. Good stuff.

Nice, quaint little place. Their food and little sweet bites looked quite good, but I did not enjoy their coffee. It was thick and a bit odd tasting. I wouldn't get their coffee again, but I might try their other drinks or food.

Beautiful latte! Enjoyed checking this place out. I was bummed they were out of the autumn quinoa, being vegan that was one of my two options. I was able to enjoy some vegetable curry soup, however, and that was delightfully tasty! Nice downtown river view and fun place to check out!

Best coffee in town. Tell me I'm wrong. Sure it costs more, but I feel it had good value. Macchiato is perfect, with a balanced espresso roast (not the overly sour pull that is common). Casual atmosphere with a fire in winter.

This place is really beautiful. The baristas are great people, very friendly, helpful, and they give a great vibe. Plus, how could you be unhappy with a view so majestic and serene, at the same time? The traffic is annoying, but the least annoying here so far. The clientele is friendly as well and easy to relax around. Free WiFi (with purchase) and great connection. I do a lot of reading and writing at coffee shops, and once I know more people in this town, I can tell I'll love using this coffee shop for meet-up groups and the like. There's a small group here, and they are relaxed and happy: a great sign that this is an ideal spot for local small groups. It is a little small, but come on - intimacy is so rare in the public forum these days, I like it. On top of the beauty and ambiance, the mocha is perfect! Not too sweet, really fine taste. They have a bar in the middle with all of your lid/straw/sweetener needs. Really love this place! Bring your friends.

The espresso drinks are always made to perfection - I sincerely appreciate the time they take to froth the milk correctly and to pull the shots. Have not had the pour over coffee, but that looks great as well. I also had toast and jam - perfect w/a cappuccino. Lovely little spot and the best espresso I've had in town.

This is the cutest little cafe and I would come here again instantly. The Vanilla iced coffee was one of the best I've EVER had and served in the cutest little jar. My sister from Australia also ordered a coffee and said it was amazing, which really says something! I also ordered a simple toasted bagel with cream cheese, also great!

Coffee snobs? This is the best joint I've found yet in town. I've been in TC for a week and tried a lot of espresso places. Hands down the best latte yet. It was so good I went back for a macchiato in the afternoon. 10/10. Would drink again.

  • Alli S.

Their coffee is good, their morsels (small bite size... cake-type-... things) are delicious, and their food is alright. I love their location, love having the little patio on the river, and it's much better than their previous spot - but honestly, go for the morsels and coffee... and not much else. The food is good, but if you're going to eat in TC, eat some where else, then walk over to Morsels, buy yourself a twelve pack of bite sized heaven, a honey latte, and move on. They're great at what they're known for. Everything else is good, but it's better somewhere else.

This coffee and confection establishment serves coffee and small baked confections, in a modern (hip?) coffee house atmosphere. We ordered four of the baked treats: two flourless chocolate topped with chocolate cream, one pineapple, and one carrot cake. With the exception of the pineapple, the other two were heavy and not so tasty. They left a very heavy feeling on our stomach. My wife had an average cappuccino and I had a cup of black Intelligentsia coffee, with a shot of espresso. My coffee did not stay hot very long, which is a flaw on the part of ownership, in their choice of porcelain. Atmosphere was neutral and not at all beckoning. I asked them to turn on the gas fireplace as it was a cold wet day and neither of the employees knew how. I stood up, walked over, and flipped the switch on the side of the wall unit; instant heat. Both employees ignored my action. The service people had an air of superiority that is interesting considering they are working for minimum wage serving expensive coffee and sweets. Ownership should reevaluate their employee hiring paradigm, do a through quality review and watch their profitability spike. Until then, this place is less than average, boring and headed out of business.

Very unique with calming view. With my wifey being a barista for our church, she says this was one of the best dry cappuccinos she has had. Good place to warm up on a cold winter morning.

So here we are walking down Front Street in Traverse City... Checking out all the cute shops... And who do we see? Michael Moore! Very cool! Anyway, we stopped into this trendy little coffee shop. I have such a sweet tooth, so of course I notice the sweets in the display- and something called ninja turtle bite. Omg... Soooo good! It's just a little bite of brownie with pecans and caramel. I could eat 100 of them, but I restrained myself and got one. The hubs ordered some sweet coffee. It had a heart in the foam and he said it was because the barista things he's cute. Whatevs... ;p haha :) Everyone seemed very nice in here. The music is a little loud but only if you are over 45 haha. There are windows all around do there is a great view of the area.

Swanky new little espresso bar in Traverse. They use Intelligentsia coffee, which is some of the best, and brew it right. A fun little spot right by the water!

Morsels is an experience. It is run by a husband and wife team, one of whom has experience in graphic design, which clearly shows. The store is beautifully decorated and features local art. It also has this wonderful porch that overlooks the little river running behind it. Basically, the layout and look of Morsels is unforgettable, nothing you would see at a chain coffee shop. My boyfriend and I split one of the desserts. We were hesitant because some of the reviewers were pretty negative regarding the baked goods. We had the mojito morsel, and frankly, it was a little underwhelming. However, STILL way better than Starbucks fare and only a dollar. The flavors were good but not too complex. Still, a neat way to eat sweets and the presentation was lovely. The five stars is for the lattes, because they are just fantastic. First, my boyfriend and I split a small salted caramel latte and sat on the outside porch sipping it. It was absolutely delicious. The espresso was of a high quality and the care the owner took in making the drink was apparent. All of the flavors are made there, and it shows. One tip if you are used to slightly sweeter lattes; ask the barista if they'll add a little extra flavor (I am ashamed to admit I requested this). The latte I posted a photo of was the second one ordered; a large salted caramel latte with a little extra flavor. Truly the perfect blend of sweet and bitter. Both times we ordered the owner added some pretty latte art as well. It's very clear he is very passionate about serving quality drinks. I highly recommend stopping there and ordering a latte/caffeinated beverage.

Loved this place!! Delicious morsels of goodness and my salted caramel latte was made with love!

This place is ballin man. My wife knows coffee and she loved it. I don't know coffee and i loved it. I asked for a café miel and they made it extra tasty. It wasn't even on the menu bro. It's located right on a canal so you get a nice view outside. Way better than dunkin doughnuts coffees.

  • Emily B.

Best coffee in TC! Sure they are pricey but the coffee is awesome and the view is great. I wish they would reconsider the cost of the morsels. They are one to two bites. I think if they sold them at 2 for $1 they would really do well but now I'll only get one occasionally. Maybe I should thank them since I would be 5 lbs heavier!

  • Mansi S.

Very cosy and nice place for coffee and sweet treats. The store is pretty from inside and we loved sitting by the fireplace since it was pretty cold. We were just visiting the area so decided to try it. There are many different options for coffee/ tea but we were not very impressed with the baked goods. When we ordered the Greek way to go and seventh heaven morsel, we were expecting it to be soft, gooey and warm. But unfortunately they were hard and we didn't like them at all. The jasmine green tea and the cosy feeling were the only things that won my heart. Mayb they should re think their desserts!!

What a great place! It's cozy, coffee is great and the morsels are tasty. A nice quiet place to enjoy some coffee

Location is stellar. They're right downtown but also right on the water. They have a pretty expansive back porch you can sit on to sip on your coffee by the water. The food was decent. Pretty small menu, but their big draw is the morsels. I had a brownie morsel and my friend had the Boston cream- we were both impressed with them. Small but they satisfy the sweet tooth! The staff was friendly and gave us recommendations for some other local spots to hit during our stay in Traverse City. Worth the stop in.

  • Michelle C.

Cute store, very modern looking and has indoor & outdoor seating. I only had a water, but everyone else had coffee drinks which they all liked. They have treats in a case that are so pretty to look at, but taste good? not so much...

  • Dean K.

I like the view but that was pretty much it. as much as i really love strong coffee, this was just bitter. i was surprised, too, because i drink intelligensia all the time in Chicago. i was the only customer in the store with two baristas (?) and the cream pitcher was empty and the sign instructed me to bus my own dishes while they literally leaned against the counter chatting. it was worth a try i guess.

Veiw + 6 stars...sit outside its awesome...right on the famous Boardman river! Take your apple laptop, order a salted carmel latte, and work to your hearts content. Thats what I did on vacation for 3 days and it was wonderful...recharged my batteries. Owner and staff are really cool too! I look forward to this place every year I return for my annual vacation.

I remember coming here about 4 years ago when they were at another location in TC, but the location where they are now is fantastic! It overlooks the river and you can sit outside on the deck and enjoy the wonderful view of the river and bay. Salted caramel latte - delicious! Morsels are pretty good, especially the ninja turtle and the espresso morsels. I would come here again, very good treats, excellent atmosphere. Nice and quiet if you need to do work.

  • Kristin F.

Their new location is top-notch. Along the first stretch of Front Street lies Morsels, settled on the Boardman River with an outdoor patio and all. I came in with a hankering for some chocolate and one of the olive morsels- was able to park right out front and dodge the rain. The only thing the previous location was lacking was SPACE- and the Front Street shop has just that. There are tables along both Front Street and the river, perfect for people watching and enjoying a summer day. The interior is also spacious with a lovely little gallery displaying the morsels available. I was greeted and even received some help selecting a 4th morsel because I just couldn't decide on what I wanted to try- everything looks so delicious. The guy working was super nice and I told him to surprise me with a selection. ha. The coffee is some of the best downtown, too.

We tried the carrot cake morsels--they were very good. My boyfriend said his cappuccino was good. My latte, however, was terrible. The foam on it was not well made, the bubbles were huge which is not enjoyable to sip on. And my espresso was burnt so badly that no amount of sugar could rescue it... I told the lady behind the counter that she could pour this out for me(since they only have a bucket by the door for cups and I didn't want to put a full one in it) and told her it was burnt. She just smirked and walked away. HORRIBLE service. Didn't even offer to remake it. I will not be returning when there are so many other wonderful coffee shops in traverse city.

  • Giovanni D.

GREAT COFFEE!! All the little desserts were good, moist which is hard to do in such a small dessert size. My family and I have driven by this place every time we came to Traverse City in the past, this time we stopped and glad we did!! Grab a coffee, some dessert and go sit out back. Great place to sit in the back, look out over the canal, and be peaceful.

Perfect spot for morning coffee on a crisp fall morning. Nick is awesome...friendly and offers great menu suggestions. The coffee is the best I have ever had! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a comfortable contemporary feel. Definitely enjoy a latte with a morsel of your choice on the patio...relax and be thankful!

  • Annette J.

I really like this new location. It's right by the river and has a lovely little patio tucked in the back which allows for enjoying some outdoor time without all the sunshine. It's nice to get fresh air, work a bit on the computer, enjoy a coffee, and chill out without getting burned. And the view of the river is gorgeous. The facility inside is really nice. Big windows, clean, modern. The staff is friendly and fast (although the coffee may take a while since it's a pour over situation). The coffee is Intelligensia and, having lived in Chicago for a while, it was really nice to get to enjoy some of that brew again. Good stuff. As for the morsels, I have to admit--I'm not super huge on them. For me there are much better places in TC for me to fulfill my sweet tooth. I agree with Sam G that the textures just weren't right for me and the flavors just weren't bold or rich enough. Cute idea, I like that you can try multiple flavors without the large dessert commitment. But it just didn't quite gel for me. And yet, I still give this place 4 stars. Because for coffee, other beverages, and a beautiful view--this place is great!

We have been here twice for coffee and morsels. The morsels are tasty but they are not cheap. The coffee is well done. The view is amazing and makes the ambience very nice. This is a place we come to every time we come to Traverse City.

Go for their oatmeal. They add strawberries and walnuts. Mocha latte with skim milk was good. Heads up their wifi is awful. Sorry Morsels ;(. Just worky got kicked off time and time again. My sweetheart had to get some work in so we went back to Bayshore to get that in....TC In general has low level wifi. My only real downer so far....as for food and drink? Go for it. Seating available outside. Bathroom squeaky clean ;)

Interesting concept. Love the idea of bite sized treats because then you don't feel guilty trying several. =] We tried the redhead, ninja turtle, seventh heaven, thai one on, and a pumpkin. They were just ok to me. Maybe even a little dry on the seventh heaven and the thai one on. The ninja turtle was the best. Really good flavored caked. Neat concept for a coffee shop for sure! They didn't have any savory ones that I saw but would like to try some!

Had breakfast here for first time this morning. Great experience. Very nice decor and sits between Front St. and the river. Small but very interesting breakfast menu. Great associates made our visit very enjoyable. I had the poached egg with roasted vegetables. bacon and toast. EVERYTHING was very good with a lot of flavor in every bite. Bacon was some of the best I have ever had. My wife had the Strata which was a little on the dense side but very flavorful. They also sell "morsel"size desserts in a variety of flavors. Gonna have to go back for some of those. A BIG go to in my book.

I adore sweets and live on coffee. I think I expected too much. After three tries and thee bouts with buyers remorse...I said enough! I would rather go to Something to Crow About Coffee off the tart trail by Tamarack Lodge. In the winter time she gives you a morsel of sweet heaven with each cup of coffee. I just wish she'd do it year round.

Visited while on a quick vacation to TC. Can get a bit busy and with only on register it may take awhile to place an order, but it is worth it. I ordered a delicious mango carrot smoothie and four morsels: ninja turtle, redhead, blondie and nuts/berries. They all were very different and very tasty. Nice little place for a quick sweet snack.

  • Sara S.

Extremely underwhelming "morsels". Rude staff. Ordered a skim white mocha and got Soy. My friend did enjoy her coffee. The store itself was adorable and the patio charming. Have seen an nice little turnover of food establishments in traverse with each visit. Can't wait to see this one go and something better pop up!

Review is for their morsels only! I was pretty excited about these little buggers because I'm a person that loves to try a little of everything, if at all possible. The more the merrier. We got a dozen and sampled virtually every flavor. I'm with another reviewer that the macaroons and the red velvets were probably the highlights of the bunch. The Dulce de Leche were also good but overly sweet. But overall the quality wasn't what I was hoping for. The lemon morsel tasted like Pledge and the raspberry shortcake tasted just as synthetic. I wish they used lemon zest or real raspberries for flavoring. They're also heavy in oil (likely so they're preserved through the day). The texture is also pretty inconsistent - I want the cake ones more fluffy, the cookie ones more soft, and the brownie more rich and gooey. Awesome concept. Sub par execution. And too expensive for what they are.

  • Ann S.

I was chomping at the bit to eat here. I'm a cupcake nut, trend or not. The hubby and I were both really disappointed at how dry and in some cases, tasteless the morsels we chose were. I did like the yellow cake with chocolate icing but some of the more fancy flavors were either so dry we couldn't even swallow them or just tasted funky. Maybe we need to go as soon as they open? Their drinks look really good though so we might stop in for a hot chocolate and maybe give another morsel or two a try. I'll be more than happy to upgrade my review if things have improved.

The quality and service were spot on 5 star. However I am giving a 4 star rating based on the fact that I had the smallest sandwich ever. Take a piece of french bread, remove the crusts, cut it in half, take one of the halves and cut that in half and that was the size of my sandwich. I guess I was a bit shocked. But it was very tasty. And this place is so darn cute. I loved the little morsels we had. I would def come back the next time I'm in the area....just maybe not for lunch.

The Blueberry Rhapsody with maple frosting is the best thing I have ever tasted. Go now.

  • Alex T.

Super cute, good food, good coffee, good "morsels" (which seem to be mini-cupcakes turned upside-down and dotted with frosting, but whatever, they're tasty!) We were there on a nice day and sat out on the little deck by the river- so nice.

This teeny bakery is great for a small bite and an amazing cup of coffee! I highly recommend the coconut and lime "morsel" and I loved how the portions were guilt free. I could try two morsels and not have any remorse for my workouts! The coffee is great - Intelligentsia from Chicago and the baristas really know how to pull a great shot of espresso. I highly recommend this place to have a couple of sweet treats and a good cup of coffee!

Was here 3x in 1 week during my vacay.. heehee!! First time, tried the avocado breakfast sandwich, it was very good! i'm not a very big egg fan,but the way they cooked their egg was SOOOOO goood dunno how it was s yummy! it was like perfect amount of fluffiness and well cooked, and not hard or burnt or anything! 2nd time, tried their peppermint mocha, pretty good, the barista was a true barista. He definitely knew what he was doing. 3rd time, got the warm mocha.. i think coffee is best warm, definitely.

Today I wanted a cupcake, seeing as it is National Cupcake Day and all. I went to the cupcake store down the block, only to discover they were closed. BOOOO. But then my phone directed me here, said they had "cupcakes"... Well, not really cupcakes, but they were pretty darn good! I bought a box of six to split with the hubs for dessert. We tried their version of red velvet (tasty frosting), Boston cream pie (the hubs loved this), and the carrot cake (AWESOME). All had perfect moist texture and tasty dollop of frosting. I can see these tasty bites would go nicely as an add on to a cup of coffee or latte... might have to do that next time I'm in.

Very good spot, amazing service and good coffee, must try the tacos, and the ninja turtle morsel, a must for travelers ...

  • Sara C.

Morsels has an interesting concept -- bite-sized cakes sold for about $1 each. Though they are quite good, I can't help but think about how much money they must be making off of these tiny tablespoon-sized cakes. I admit that I did get sucked in and bought some; they definitely appeal to the "cute" factor. I also ordered an iced soy chai, which they forgot to make; my friends received their expresso and coffee, but I had to go back to ask for my chai, and I ended up receiving a hot regular chai.

I've been going to Morsels for 3 or 4 years. + Love their new location! Much larger space and a nice view of the river. Nice tables and chairs. Good study place. + Best lattes and espresso in town bar none. DO NOT go to Espresso Bay...I couldn't even drink what they called a latte. + Pour over coffee! Expensive at $4+ a cup but awesome that they do it. - They don't have an ability to do an odd number of espresso shots here. I believe it's probably because they have an older or "traditional" machine that only does doubles. Also, this machine puts out a VERY small volume. One shot of espresso should be about 1.5 oz. a double should be 3 oz. At Morsels I ordered a double and it was only 1.5oz. You can't order a triple at Morsels because of their machine. You can, but you will pay for 4 shots and then they will throw out one shot which is silly. - Another strange thing with this place...a regular latte comes with 2 shots (I believe this is traditional). A large latte also comes with 2 shots! So you don't get any more espresso...just more milk and you pay more for it. So a large latte is going to taste differently than a regular. If you ask for a large latte with 3 shots they'll tell you that they can't add one shot =) Also, they don't advertise this anywhere on their menu or tell you unless you ask. - They have some new baristas which aren't as experienced as the ones at the old location. They used to do amazing latte art which takes a ton of practice. The baristas at the new place did not do latte art. Overall, a great espresso/coffee shop and the best Traverse City has!

This is an adorable coffee shop. Morsels just relocated to their new spot right on the river and it is very cute and relaxing. The tiny morsels are to die for and perfect for sharing without the guilt! My husband enjoyed his special coffee treat and I had a fruit smoothie that was fresh and delicious. You can also special order morsels online to ship to someone special. I will definitely return when I'm in the TC area!

I love the idea of Morsels. The presentation is very cool, the barrista friendly, and the outdoor seating nice. The execution, though, leaves something to be desired. If I were to rate them only on the quality of the coffee and the bite-sized cupcakes, they would easily score a 3, maybe a 4, out of 5. Once you factor in the non-cupcake menu items, Morsels does not fare so well. We ordered: 1) Large cup of coffee served in a mug. 2) A hot chocolate 3) 4 morsels 4) A breakfast sandwhich 5) A "Classic" oatmeal. With the exception of the coffee, every single item was served in some combination of plastic and polysterene. As we were dine-in customers, this gratuitous waste is strange and tough to overlook. To top if off, they do not provide a way to recycle the plastic and paper waste. Finally, and this is the most annoying thing, the oatmeal was instant. In fact, I heard the micro-wave "ding!" shortly before the food came out. To top if off, I asked for the sugar on the side, and it came on top in one concentrated mass. That is just poor: do not charge $5 for oatmeal you microwave and then slap together in a slapdash manner in the "kitchen." The whole thing left me wondering about the quality and value of the meal. Do they even make the breakfast sandwich from scratch? How about the morsels themselves? Meh, spend your recession dollars elsewhere.

The small little bites/ cupcakes are a great concept. Blueberry Rhapsody is like crack to me!

Friendly and great coffee, but the morsels weren't as tasty and delectible as I had expected.

We stopped by Morsels on our way out of Traverse City, but I wish I had known about it sooner! It was the best latte I have had in a while - well made without the burnt and unappealing flavor espresso can sometimes get when not done right. I only drink decaf now, but it was still a great latte. I am also a huge fan of Intelligentsia Coffee, and I was happy to see it in TC. We also had the housemade granola and yogurt, and the granola was delicious! I wish they sold it in bags so we could take some home. I have had a lot of granola, but this one was light and not overly sweet or full of hard dried fruits. Way better than Milk & Honey granola we get in Chicago. The shop also has a wonderful open feeling, and you can sit inside to enjoy the views in the comfort of AC or hop on the patio. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Traverse City!

Very cute place with outdoor seating over tree lined area and water. We had a cafe mocha and a chai tea latte along with an assortment of morsels. I don't remember which ones but they were good. People very nice, service a little slow but didn't mind. Drinks could have been hotter.

We were up north for a sports tournament with several early morning games. We're pretty particular about coffee so we looked on Yelp for good coffee and this place was rates as one of the best. It definitely didn't disappoint. Whether you just want drip coffee, a latte or any other fancy drink the quality and consistency was great. The coffee is medium on the boldness spectrum. I prefer mine a bit stronger, but it was very good and a nice change for a few days. Once we found this place half the team ended up becoming regulars for the weekend too.

On my last birthday I was still living in Atlanta when I received a package from my mother. It contained a dozen of the most delicious 'morsels' I have ever tasted! She had them shipped directly from the store in Traverse City to my front porch. They shipped very well and none were the least bit damaged after making the 1,000-mile journey directly to my house. I knew when I came back to Traverse City to visit I would have to stop in and check out their operation. I could not have been more excited when I saw that they were serving Intelligentsia Coffee! Coming from a coffee background I know that even though you have great coffee to start you also need to have the proper training. I ordered a medium latte and could not have been more pleased with the outcome; it was perfect! It's nice to see gourmet coffee made with such attention to detail by such a friendly staff. Morsels is my new favorite place to get coffee in Traverse City!

Just the right amount of deliciousness in every bite. The perfect-sized dose of chocolate, Intelligentsia coffee and some gluten-free offerings have been a draw for us to this downtown locale. Also features intelligentsia espresso, and a fine breakfast menu.

Nice people here on both sides of the counter. Very good coffee, I''m willing to believe this is the best Coffee in Traverse City, but hesitant to apply a rigorous scientific method to properly rule out all of the sketchy looking places around. I'll be coming back to Morsels when I come to town.

When the morsels barista took the time to create a flower out of coffee and milk at the top of my mocha, I knew I'd be back. The first time any barista in TC has put a personal touch on his or her creation. And that is how I'd describe morsels. They really do care about their product and their customers. The owners are also involved in the community and contribute to a variety of charity events. And I think that makes their morsels taste even sweeter. And the best? Seventh Heaven and S'morsels.

What a cute place. The "morsels" were delicious. Great coffee and friendly atmosphere. It was a nice place to sit and enjoy a treat to break up a day of walking around on Front Street. Great spot for people watching, too!

I just found out that they uses Intellgentsia coffee! Nothing can go wrong with this brand! Very tiny coffee bar but ..... great coffee Try espresso drinks and you will know why Chicagoans vote Intelligentsia one of their favorites.

It's a cute little place with very friendly staff. My sister and I stopped in after having dinner at the new Union Cantina for a coffee and to see what they had to offer for dessert. We both got the pumpkin spice latte, which is the best one I've had in this city, and grabbed a 4 pack of morsels. The morsels are tasty but are definitely not more than a bite. Just over $4 for 4 of them and the two latte's came to about $10. I'd suggest making them just a little bit bigger so that it actually is a 2 biter like the signs suggest in the store. The range of flavors was pretty impressive so I will definitely be coming back but not for the morsels, more for the friendly staff and excellent free trade coffee.

Best coffee in tc. Period. Great service-misha, chuck, and the crew are a friendly, welcoming presence downtown. Working downtown for a few years, I've spent many rainy days chatting with them! Lunch and breakfast are great options, too-from the tropical oatmeal to the hummus plate (so, so good). Oh, and did I mention the morsels? Those are good, too. I've had them all- but try the two best: "something to wine about" and " seventh heaven."

I was at first hesitant to try this place while on vacation because it sounded like primarily a bakery while I was really looking for coffee. The morsels were in fact very good. However, to my pleasant surprise, the coffee was some of the best I've ever had. I tried both an espresso and a pour-over. Both were perfect to my tastes. I know that starting with Intelligentsia beans helps a lot, but the barista really seemed to know what he was doing. The tedious pour-over process was downright artful and the tastes of the finished products spoke for themselves. Enjoying them on the deck overlooking the river really made my day.

The espresso I had here was top notch. Pulled perfectly. Fresh. And the barista and servers were friendly and helpful.

Excellent coffee! The morsels are tasty, but not outrageously expensive. "Something to wine about" and "tall on taste" were our favorites. The texture of the morsels was the best part.

Simply the best coffee in town. Try their Caramel Latte, it's perfect (creamy, sweet, and just the right temperature). My favorite morsel is the 'Devils in the Detail' (I think that's it)...basically soft chocolate cake wrapped around a cream filled center topped with chocolate ganache. Great place for stopping off with the kids as there is a great variety of morsels to appease even the most fickle kid palette. They just introduced some great breakfast sandwiches as well (get is 'hot' with their chipotle sauce on top).

Morsels is WONDERFUL!!!! They are delicious little treats. My husband and I used them as part of our welcome basket for guests for our wedding. The guests raved about them. Morsels was extremely easy to work with and accommodating! If you haven't tried them you MUST! :)
